Yarrow (Achillea millefolium) is a native perennial that can be grown in masses to
provide a ferny, green look throughout the year. The nodding flower heads are a bonus.

California Fuchsia (Epilobium canum canum) is
a drought-tolerant, gray-leaved perennial that
flowers in fall and is a favorite of hummingbirds

Creeping Black Sage (Salvia mellifera
'Terra Seca') has fragrant foliage and tiny
white flowers that draw bees of all kinds
