Yarrow (Achillea millefolium) occurs
naturally all over the northern hemisphere


Blue-eyed grass (Sisyrinchium bellum) actually belongs to the
iris family and can be seen everywhere in California in spring

 

Bush Monkeyflower (Mimulus aurantiacus) and Sagebrush
(Artemisia californica) belong to the same plant community


California fuchsia (Epilobium septentrionale) and
bird's eye gilia (Gilia tricolor) offer great habitat for quail,
real or wrought
