Big Dig at 1998 Landslide Damaged Property

A very large excavation is being prepared for a 4,000 square foot house to be constructed
on the lower end of the lot at the corner of Alum Rock Avenue and Crothers Road. The original
house in which the young Goode family lived at the time of the winter landslide is visible above.

You can see the old house better in this earlier photo.
It was severely damaged, but may be salvaged.
